Fibromyalgia Nutrition by Law Of Attraction & Nutrition Coach Jen Blackert
Although there are no known cures for fibromyalgia, I would have to say I have personally seen yoga and nutritional detoxification help considerably.
With nearly 10 million Americans suffering with fibromyalgia (reported by The National Fibromyalgia Association) wouldn’t you think more systems and programs would be available to help those that are suffering?
I want to share what I know can help those struggling with fibromyalgia.
1.Start with Supplements
Omega-3: Research has shown that taking fish oil and EPA/DHA supplement can relieve joint pain due to inflammation. Pain journal suggests that 2.7 grams or more of omega-3 fatty acids per day will do the trick.
Bromelain: Bromelain is an enzyme from pineapple that you can find at most local drug stores. The enzyme has amazing anti-inflammatory properties that reduce pain and bruising.
2. Continue by choosing a healthy vegetarian diet with lots of raw foods. That means more living plants, fruits and vegetables every day.
3. Honor yourself by honoring your limits during a 3-4 a week yoga practice.
I recommend a great system for treating fibromyalgia with yoga. It’s called Fibroga! I know you don’t want to exercise when you are in pain – and you may feel that yoga is leaving you exhausted and in more pain. However, this gentle exercise therapy is designed for fibromylgia suffers to move with their bodies flow and limits.
The program includes breathing exercises, warm up exercises, stretching and minimal strength exercise. Please check out their products here.

Answering Typical Questions - Lowering Triglycerides
Treatment for high triglycerides is similar to general cholesterol treatment. Eating foods high in omega-3 fatty acids can help lower your triglyceride level. Fatty fish, like salmon, mackerel, and herring, are good sources, as are certain vegetable oils, nuts, and soy products. Also try cutting down on alcohol and sugary and starchy foods. Regular aerobic exercise and cutting calories help to lower triglyceride levels. If you smoke, quitting may improve both your triglyceride and total cholesterol levels. — John’s Hopkins

Be Careful With Your Plastics
Cancer update — Johns Hopkins — Cancer News from Johns Hopkins:
1. No plastic containers in micro.
2. No water bottles in freezer.
3. No plastic wrap in microwave.
Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well.
Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer.
Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don’t freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic.
Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us.
He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body.
Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn’t bad but you don’t know what is in the paper. It’s just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc.
He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.
Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food.
Cover food with a paper towel instead.

A great quote for craving control
When you overeat or under eat, you are simply not respecting yourself. Here’s a great quote.
- “Self-respect is the fruit of discipline; the sense of dignity grows with the ability to say no to oneself.”

Mind-Body Awareness: Enjoy a healthy summer day!
Mary Oliver poem
The Summer Day
Who made the world?
Who made the swan, and the black bear?
Who made the grasshopper?
This grasshopper, I mean–
the one who has flung herself out of the grass,
the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,
who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down–
who is gazing around with her enormous and complicated eyes.
Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.
Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.
I don’t know exactly what a prayer is.
I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down
into the grass, how to kneel in the grass,
how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,
which is what I have been doing all day.
Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn’t everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
With your one wild and precious life?
